Matt Lee joined Northern’s Operations Department in 2021.

Matt is a mechanical specialist with over twenty years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair.  He is a skilled mechanic, with specialized pump station repair knowledge, who worked for several water control agencies before joining Northern.  He is the District’s Stormwater Tech in charge of the maintenance and repair of fifteen pump stations, including generators and fuel tanks, throughout the District.  He works with Northern’s stormwater team to see that stormwater facilities and equipment are regularly maintained, as well as scheduling, coordinating and managing repairs of those assets as needed.

• Responsible for maintenance of pump station facilities (including pumps, piping and valves, diesel engines, generators, drive units, telemetry and communication systems and general interior and exterior building maintenance)
• Maintains operable and fixed weir water control structures (including gate components, actuators, telemetry and communication systems and general exterior maintenance)
