Matthew was elected to Seat No. 5 of Northern’s Board and was first sworn in on November 19, 2008.  He was unopposed in the November 2024 election for the seat and was sworn in on November 20, 2024 for his fifth term.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and is employed at NextEra Energy, Inc.  He previously worked with Bank of America and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University of Ohio and a Master’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University. He and his family reside in Jupiter.
